What started out as a 24 year old engineer's casual interest in capturing sweeping vistas and ordinary moments soon evolved into the desire to capture the smiles around the Thanksgiving dinner table. From there it was recognizing the joy that it brought folks to see themselves in a natural, joyful state and to have those images as a tool with which to remember the moments and people that brought on that joy.

I'm a big believer in the power of the marriage covenant. How it blesses through its refining work over time. How one naïve but confident decision to say "I Do" can be followed up with a lifetime of such blessing.

The wedding day is hardly the culminating moment of one's life, but rather a beautiful launching point for each year to come. I've been so honored to capture my couples' launching days <3
